Ron Cey had 2 base hits as the Los Angeles Dodgers beatthe San Diego Padres
by a score of 5 to 2.
 
Los Angeles took the lead for keeps in the 7th inning plating an isolated run.
Los Angeles had just 5 hits for the night. 
 
The win went to Don Sutton(3-5) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings. Rawly
Eastwick recorded his 4th save.  Randy Jones(1-4) absorbed the loss. 
 
This win by Los Angeles continues their recent hot streak.  In their last ten
games, they have a record of 8-2.  For the season, they are 20-16.  With this
loss, San Diego has a 3-7 record of late, 13-23, worst in the division
