Here are a few thoughts about the Reds. They certainly can produce runs. And their pitching is better than most, but that defense, if you can call it that!! There's a reason why they are dead last in errors. But, two out of three ain't bad; enough to get them first place in the division. The Cubs have a better team than they had at the start of the season, but their offense is so-so, the SP is good, and RP is non-existent. Defense is pretty solid, also. But, not enough to take out the Big Red Machine. Game results follow. G1 Cubs............ 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 - 2 6 0  S Trachsel pitches 7 strong innings to even his record at 12. J.
